Aside from being noisy, heavy, awkward, cumbersome and dangerous, not much.
Now I love gardening (i.e. lazing in the hammock in the back yard with a pink gin in a tall glass) as much as the next fella, but usually limit my involvement to mowing the lawn, leaving the heavy lifting to Daniel-san. What with Daniel spending a few weeks with his family, the duties have fallen to me.
Seeing as it rains about 3 times a day in Jhb these days, I've been mowing about every 4 days. Still the garden looks like a hobo's hovel. So out with the POS Ryobi weed eater at 07H45 this morning (hello neighbours :RTFM and I remembered why I dislike the thing so much.
Unfortunately the results are worth the pain, the garden is back to acceptable standards.
