Not sure if this has been discussed before or not but for those who have owned both of these which one would you say is the better machine and why? I read a post on another forum of a guy who lives in Swindon and said he has spoken to old employees of Garrard who all seemed to agree that the 401 is the better machine.. :nfi: The 301 probably wins in the looks department although I quite like how the 401 looks.
The reason I ask is I have both of these and want to start with a solid plinth for one of them and probably sell the other one to fund the build. Both have oil bearings and are in similar condition.
