Gatvol... Good Afrikaans word for having had enough... It started about three weeks ago when one of the phases servicing our neighbourhood went dead for almost an entire week. So one half of the house's plugs had no electricity, incl the AV room. Then, just as it was repaired, load shedding started. Once that ended, we had about three days of normality during the week and then that same darn phase went out again. I then got somebody to rewire my connection in order for the entire house to run from one phase. With the week-end the load shedding was reintroduced again and this afternoon at about 15h00 our remaining phase went dead..! So we have no electricity right now, we are scheduled for load shedding between 18h00 and 20h00 and I have no hope whatsoever that the local technicians will actually do something about the retired phase until tomorrow... :Ooooooh:
