Does anyone here know how one goes about getting a valuation on an old writing desk? My Mom is in one of her 'freeing up space' moods and is thinking of selling off the desk. It's a huge, heavy thing that's been in the family for as long as I can remember. I can't take it because I don't have the space for it, so just trying to make sure she doesn't end up selling it to someone for a fraction of what it is worth.
