I've recently reshuffled my audio/cinema room - and am planning on moving the amp and various electronics to the front. The problem is the nearest plug point is on one of the side walls... and all the additional wiring, networking, surround speakers, etc all come out at a point next to the side wall plug.
What would be the best way of running these to the center front wall?
I was thinking of replacing the floor skirting with ducting, and running the cables in this to the front - obviously you'd then be running speaker cables/network in the same ducting as power cables - I'd also be using a 5-6m extension cable to get power to the center to run about five different devices? Any major problems with this plan?
