The much maligned genre seems to be my mainstay at the moment so I was wandering if anyone had any lesser known gems to suggest. My favourite sub-genre has to be the German (or German related) stuff that is sometimes Kosmische, sometimes more electronic but usually great.
To start things off I have just spent most of the last three days on a diet of Yes, Marillion (80s had prog too, and both variants of Amon Duul (1 and 2), with a side order of Brain Salad Surgery (I wish!), and some Argent.
