A little number in tortoise shell and african blackwood. The donor for the coils only, was a Shure M75EJ Type 2.
Now for the difficult bit. I have to make a little part from titanium so small it looks like an insignificant bit of swarf or a grain of sand. This will provide the 'anchor' for the Gyger FG11 needle and the samarium cobalt magnet at the rear of the cantilever. The type of magnet required also has to be made from scratch.
Next up is the final finishing of the mounting plate and its anodising.
