Good day gents / ladies
GOLD NOTE has recently launched their new Vasari Shibata MM phono cartridge.
The new Vasari Shibata features a peculiar shape of its stylus designed by Mr Shibata in the 70s.
The stylus shape is an evolution of the elliptical shape with extra special cuts on one end creating a hybrid asymmetrical shape, allowing an increase of contact surface area, whilst a significant reduction of total pressure into the vinyl groove.
The result is that the Vasari Shibata can produce a nearly perfect playback reaching all areas of the vinyl groove, but reducing the wear of both the record and the diamond.
The Gold Note range of Vasari cartridges include the Vasari Shibata, the Vasari Gold and the Vasari Red.
