Thanks to VALVAGLO's connection with the Ghost I am now listening to the best TT I've heard at home.
Before Francois shoots me let me explain that for the 9 months I had his SME 30/2 here it didn't sound great, after he took it back he discovered that the shipping protector on the Graham Phantom's Unipivot was still in place
The Ghost TT was delivered with an SME 3009 arm which I mounted a VdH MM-2 to for the first week.
I could immediately hear how quiet and stable the table was vs. the Studio but more was to come!
I moved the SME V arm with the VdH Colibri from the Studio onto The Ghost today and I don't want to believe what I'm hearing! It makes me want to kick the Studio under a bus!
Yes the speed is not perfect, esp on 45rpm. But VALVAGLO has a plan to correct this.
For now I cant wait for the ZYX 4D Premium to arrive, the Colibri's exposed cantilever wont last on such a deck!
