So the Joburg Open started today, not shattering news that I imagine...
On my daily commute drive down Linksfield road which is the only way into the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington golf course. This road runs past King David High School and is always backed up in the mornings. Around 07h00 I'm sitting in the queue when a police car comes wailing up the wrong side of the road, followed by a mini van with Joburg Open stickers and a couple of golfers inside. Since when did golf become a life-or-death emergency?
