I want to know where locally I can source some good quality cathode resistors for my John Broskie Tetra Phono build. I ordered parts from Mouser, and ordered Vishay/BC Components 1 Watt resistors for those, but when I unpacked I saw that they are blerrie tiny things, smaller than a normal 1/4 Watt Xicon resistor. What to do? Trust their 1 Watt rating, or look for a better resistor that will make me feel at ease that it will handle the voltage. The current should not be too much. I need 4 150k resistors for the first stage using 12AX7 (ECC803S) valves and 4 47k resistors for my second stage using 12AT7W (6201) valves.
