My Grado RA1 headphone amp finally arrived today. I'm quite happy with it after a hour's listening and will spend some more time with it this weekend. There are a lot of mixed reviews regarding this amp on the web - the negative ones mostly relate to the cheap parts used and the ridiculous price tag. At this stage I'm pretty pleased with the sound and I think it justifies the (secondhand) price I paid for it. I don't think it's worth the retail price of R4500 though. Any comments from the forum's side on this amp? I must ad that the mahogany casing is absolutely gorgeous!!
