I discovered a CD that I listen to a lot now and drive my wife crazy with (even the kids are with me on this one).
"Putumayo - Gypsy Caravan"
Unlike many Putumayo recordings this one is very high quality and a couple of tracks are perfect for "audiophile demo" purposes.
Contains a few tracks with haunting violin (and vocals) that I just can't get out of my head. Nothing like anything Vivaldi could ever dream up.
Not to be confused with "Putumayo -Gypsy Groove", which has a totally different vibe and not nearly in the same league.

I wanted to include links to Kalahari & Loot, because the Putumayo CDs are generally much cheaper that the links above, but they don't list it!
