I've just paid a visit to JimGore's favourite emporium - Hardware Centre in Strydom Park Randburg.
They have a fantastic range of tools and consumables like waxes, stains, varnishes, shellac etc.
Special sandpapers, different grains of steel wool, lots of stuff.
They aren't a normal hardware store - they specialise in servicing the professional or hobby woodworker, cabinet-maker and wood-turner.
I love their books too - I find simple titles like "How to sharpen your tools" irresistible!
