If you saw the programme on BBC, you'll know what this is all about. If not, 'Grumpy Old Men' is a programme on which 'old' men discuss the things that really irritate or piss them off. Herewith my preliminary list (in no particular order):
1. People who brake and then put their indicator on.
2. People who drive at 80km/h in the middle lane of a freeway.
3. Able-bodied people who park in disabled parking areas.
4. People who take forever to draw money from an ATM.
5. The weather report on the news - I can see the temperatures displayed on the screen, there is no need to repeat the highs and lows for half the country.
6. PowerPoint presentations that are all style and no content.
7. MP3 - need I say more?
8. People who don't know when it is polite to switch off their cellphones.
9. People who insist on having a conversation during a movie.
10. People who don't park in the middle of a parking bay.
11. Parking meters.
12. Traffic cops who fine people for going 1cm over a stop street, but are oblivious to vehicles that are clearly not roadworthy.
13. Taxi drivers.
14. People who think a red light at an intersection is merely a polite suggestion to stop.
15. The ban on cellphones in banks and post offices - if I was going to rob the place, I would bring a gun not a phone.
16. People who 'forget' to weigh fresh produce in a supermarket.
17. Long queues.
18. The bureaucratic 'logic' of government officials.
19. Guys who think it is cool to have their boxer shorts displayed in public.
20. Government officials who think fraud and corruption are inherent perks of the job.
