Some 20 years ago I bought a Marantz cd63 mk2, a marantz stereo integrated amp and a set of B&W dm602 speakers. I was in heaven with the sound of it.
Then came home theatre to my house and I got a Marantz sr4002, surround speakers, front speaker. Sub woofer. All entry level B&W.
But sound quality left my house and I'm trying to get it back. The family still need to watch their movies, Netflix, media player. But I want my sound quality in normal stereo from my trusted marantz cd63. Old school stereo.
I bought a set if B&W 683 s2 floorstanding speakers and replaced the sr4002 with a sr 5004. Without breaking the bank what can I do to improve my listening experience?
