I have a Harman Kardon Apr 460 amp that I have a weird problem with.
the amplifier displays the PROTECT message and closes at each cold start (whether it has been unplugged from the socket or it is in standby mode) then just turn it on again immediately and it will start normally and everything works in audio / video the sound is clear and I can turn up the sound as often as I want.
Note: The problem persists even if all cables are disconnected and only the power cord is plugged in.
I therefore wonder about the probable cause of the "PROTECT" message at each start after a long shutdown (15-20 minutes and more) and especially in the long term, I can continue to use it as is or repair it better or if it corrects itself, it gets worse.
