Hey guys, a friend of mine e-mailed me asking for some advice on settings for his HD CRT. He mentioned that although DSTV's HD set-top box has component out, you can only view HD content via HDMI. This is a problem as the set in question has no HDMI input. I find this a bit odd because I have no problems viewing HD through component on my Danish set-top box. Is this HDMI only story true or is he missing something in the setup menu? I'd like to know because I recommended the set to him a few years ago and assured him it wouldn't be a problem.
