Hi all,
I'm looking at converting a spare room I have in the house to a theatre like room.
The usable space I have is about 4 x 6m. The wall suite able for mounting the fixed frame is the longest wall, therefor distance from screen to seating positions is about 3.5m.
After investigation, it seem that I would need a short throw projector (looking at http://www.benq.com/product/projector/w1070plus/) and a JK 100" Fixed Frame Screen.
The projector's throw distance is indicated 100"@2.5M.
Does this make sense? Is 100" too big? Anything to be watching out for? This setup will cost just under R20k.
