Need confirmation:
Does anyone know whether new HD PVR (HDMI output) 720p/1080i could be Upscaled to 1080p via 'Upscaling AV Receiver' (for example, SONY AV Receiver STR-DA3400ES or 5400ES). That is through HDMI input on Receiver. HDMI ouput on Receiver will then be connected to Full HD (1080p) LCD Flatscreen.
I would like to buy one of mentioned receivers to upscale all channels on HD broadcast to 1080p.
Also, does anyone know whether AV Receivers are HDCP compliant?
