Hey okes! I've got sennheiser HD535's in need of some loving. Dad bought these before the year 2000 at least, they're old. He recalls paying R700 for them new.

They still sound fantastic - as far as I can tell. Unfortunately the wear and tear have made them seriously uncomfortable.

cushion's are kapoet, foam cover over the speaker also gone.

Dad says the cushions have been replaced by Sennheiser once for R400 bucks, however those didn't really endure that long now did they. I'd like to get them in a good looking order again, whether they are worth all the money spent on them I don't know, but they satisfy me, and there is some sentimental value. If I can spend R500 and have them comfortable, and enduring then that's a better bet than buying new ones. I don't use headphones all that much anyway.

I've seen this on ebay which seems like it will live a bit longer.

However with the post office situation I might as well be throwing my money away. Is there a shoppy where I can purchase anything that would fit?.
