I have a 3 year old Hisense 65 inch Smart TV and a Marantz SR6006 connected via HDMI and it used to work 100% via ARC untill a few days ago, when sound was no longer fed to the Marantz. All ARC functions still work and the tv displays the Marantz as connected via ARC. They switch on and off via ARC too. No-one was near the system. It just was switched off one day and the next day this.
I checked, double checked and then some that cables work, all settings are correct etc. Even swapped to a second ARC input on the Marantz. Disconnected power and rebooted both, and can only conclude it is the TV playing up. I do manage to feed the tv sound via optical to the Marantz.
Ideas, suggestions maybe?
