Hey guys i've been wondering about this. I know that tests have been done, but mostly visually and sound tests, which leaves it to the person witnessing the tests to determine the outcome.
My question is what the heck do all these figures thrown at us on the HDMI packaging have to do with real world results. Results that can be shown by numbers or graphs, not just by one picture or sound bite compared to another, cos again thats subjective. Is there anywhere i can find such reviews/tests, cos all of the mags just give a good pic bad pic review, no real mathematical results.
Take for example the Monster HDMI ultra high speed 10.2Gbps vs http://www.hdcabling.co.za/premium-2-meter-high-speed-hdmi-to-hdmi-13a-category-2-cable-28awg-metal-shell-gold-plated-p-58.html in terms of specs and build quality. But the price difference is immense, is it worth the money?
