HDMI cables

I read so many times a cable is a cable and a cheap cable does the same as a expensive one.
So I am in the market for a true 4K capable HDMI cable. But then I see cables advertised as 1440P. Does that mean it cannot support 4K?
I thought all HDMI cables can comfortably handle 4K
What HDMI cable should I get, or what model number like version 1.4 or?
