Hey all, I am upgrading from my Aavara SW421 HDMI switch as I've run out of HDMI ports.
I have a Sony STR-DB940 amp which is awesome, I'm reluctant to get rid of it as it really is pretty good. Unfortunately it also has a limited number of Toslink connections, 3 I think so what I need is an HDMI switch with preferably 5 or 6 ports. Must split the audio and video into HDMI video and Toslink audio. Basically the Amp will stay on the specified input channel and the switch will take care of everything else.
I'm connecting the following to it
Mede8er MEDX500
Samsung BluRay
XBox 360
PS3
HD PVR
Output to a Samsun PS50C430
Mostly controlled witha Logitech Harmony 600
Should I be doing this another way or is this right?
