Hi all, thinking of redoing my dedicated listening room and thinking of installing hdmi wall plates as per so-:

My electronics sit behind the listening room in a storage area of approx 1m x 3m and all cables are currently run through the wall between storage area and listening room. I am thinking of placing one wall plate on either side of the wall, so instead of running a 20m hdmi cable from projector to avr (through the wall at moment), want to change to run a 10m hdmi cable from projector to wall plate then a 0.6m hdmi cable from wall plate to wall plate and then a 1.8m hdmi cable from wall plate to avr. I am however seriously concerned with handshake issues between all these connection points and possibly just making life more difficult in the pursuit of making it easer. Any thoughts or suggestions will be much appreciated.
