I have a pair of Koss UR-20s. My daughter decided the cable would be something nice to chew on. There are now several kink marks on the outer cable and a slight break at one point, though the inner cables appear to be intact, i.e. I have sound in both cans. I was thinking of using insulation tape as a temporary patch-up, but was wondering if there's an affordable outer re-cabling solution that I might consider.
I originally paid R300 for the cans and $5 to have them refoamed recently, so these have mostly sentimental value for me. Worth spending some cash on fixing/replacing the cable?
