So I currently use an AKG K240 Monitor 600Ohm and they are quite old - late 80's / 90's I guess. Anyway, they are falling apart so I think now is a good time to replace them.
I have no idea what to get...I do prefer something that will cover my whole ear and max budget is about R1500. I listened to the HD202's (different class I know) but I really did not like the fact that they sit on the ears.
I use the headphones daily at work. I also wouldn't mind having semi-open back or open back as no one sits close to me and I like listening at softer volume levels anyway.
Used is definitely an option if they are in immaculate condition. I'd appreciate any recommendations.
