I can get my hands on around a dozen brand new Pro-ject Debut Carbon Turntable platters (overstocked/deadstock spares) that could presumably do good duty on a DIY fixup of alternative brands if anybody is interested. There is no actual retail price locally but internationally these retail for 35pounds so my guess R900 odd (including taxes and shipping). So:

Price: R400 for first unit... R350 for any subsequent unit when buying multiple
