My wife has been given a brand new Siemens Motion 5 Binax hearing aid, complete with accessories, which cost just over ?1500 in the UK. She approached an audiologist in CT asking for it to be set up (quite willing to pay) but as soon as they heard she was not going to buy a new unit from them, they were not interested and declined to assist or even to make an appointment
What would occur if you were to move to a different town and wanted your hearing aid adjusted?
There is a DVD that came with the unit with the program CONNEXX 6.5 on it. It seems to refer to some interface I have not heard of to connect. You can adjust the gain in various frequency bands with it, which seems ideal
Anyone know much about these devices. I haven't tried it out yet
