So, new years eve we go with some friends to their sister and brother-in-law's place for a party.
When the subject of getting some music up and running comes up, I immediately jump up to help and follow the guys to this room - at this point I have no idea what I'm about to walk in to.
Attached to the house is a proper home theatre room complete with acoustically transparent screen, motorised curtains, complete acoustic treatment, raised floors, projector enclosure, the works. Room is about 9 or 10m long, 7m wide, double volume sloped ceiling (false ceiling with rigid fibreglass panels), soundproof door the works. I mean this room is a wet dream for pretty much all the people on this forum.
They've been in this house 2 years, there's no furniture in the room yet - so it hasn't been used. And there is............wait for it.......
A HiFi Corp special Sony "2000W" HT system that has just been unpacked in there
