I have an old late seventies Marantz Model 1050 integrated amp which was my first foray into "Hi-Fi" (bought from Foglar Sound along with a pair of B&W DM22's)
The old thing is still working, kind of, but the one channel comes and goes and the switchgear is crackly and intermittent. It probably needs "re-capping" and some tlc. Who would be the go-to guy in Cape Town area for this kind of loving restoration?
