Just bought a Pioneer DEH-1450 head unit for my bakkie. It has a front USB input which I want to use with my 2G Transcend USB Stick. The radio, and CD player all work perfectly, but when i plug in the USB stick, the sound is very crackly and distorted when I turn up the volume???? There is no distortion when it play quietly. It reads the track, with the text displaying perfectly, and plays the tracks in order, forwards to next track, etc. Can anyone advise me why the sound should be distorted? The tracks are all MP3's and play perfectly on my PC.
