Help me choose between 2 TVs please

OK I need to choose between these two TVs

I know there's a huge price difference, but my main concern is my perception of LED vs Plasma.  I have a 40"LCD and it is good for day or night viewing.  My perception is that plasmas are not good for day viewing because of reflection.  I also have this crazy feeling that their definition in less clear.  Please correct me and help me choose.  I also don't have any clues as to what else I should look for in a TV, so advice on that will help :thumbs:
