Hi guys
I need help identifying this cartridge. It is missing it's nameplate on the top and it does not seem to have any other identification markings on it to help, so this will be identification by sight. Here are the pics:
I got it on the Lenco B-52 that I bought, and I have to tell you, it's a stonker. Admittedly I have only been able to use it on the stock arm of the Lenco B-52, but on that arm it has proceeded to blow away my other cartridge, a Technics 270C. Better bass, better treble, albeit very slightly over-exuberant on some LPs, much better dynamics and just sheer life, joie de vivre, in all music played. And all this coupled to much lower surface and groove noise. It is also a bit louder, so it seems to have more gain. It is an enigma, but I really hope to identify it so that when the time comes I can buy a new (better? Shibata, anyone?) stylus for it.
Thanks,
Deon
