I need some help AVSA. I recently snagged a cheap hybrid tube amp off ebay that I wanted
to mod but I don't have any soldering/modding experience so this would be the first.
I wanted to change the mosfets and on/off switch to something like this
btw, what's that white wires with oval thingy?
or this
Any ideas which miniature toggle switch should i use and where to buy them? I've checked RS
site's, found some but i don't know which one to get and they're quite pricey. Any
particulars i should know about miniature PCB toggle switches? i mean specs-wise? or any
kind will do just fine? would it require wires to go with the switch?
would everything be easy?
One more thing (did i say i don't have a soldering experience?), could you suggest which
solder to use? i have some regular solders here but i don't know if they're okay with PCBs.
sorry for these noob-stupid questions but someone has to start on something right?
