I'm interested in a Sony STR-K1600 av receiver. It's rated at 6 ohms and I have 8 ohm speakers all round, will it be ok?
Providing I keep the volume below 90%??? Or shouldn't I worry?
And will the amp be able to decode HD audio or is it just a pass through/switcher? Will I have to run a optical cable to the receiver still(Seems like the manual say I have to)? Or will it take audio and video from my blu-ray over HDMI cable... ???
It probably won't upscale my other inputs either. Just wana know if it's worth changing my STR-DE497 5.1
