Help with cordless drill/driver

I want to buy a cordless driver/drill.  Budget about R1200.00

The Bosch ones look pretty good.  Is there a major difference between the green and the blue range.

Is it worth paying substantially more for the LI-ION models.

For home/private use.  I'm renovating my house, as well as future speaker building projects.
