Hiya, I have a system I'm willing to let go - it is the highest quality known to mankind
We , at Rodney's Research have put 18 of out top gurus on to it and have developed a free air motion cone out of an old pioneer 6x9 , we have carefully removed the surround and have laser cut 3 holes (to resemble puncture marks by a screwdriver that slipped when removing it , in it'self a momentuous task - required a 3d cad package that cost R60 000)
The tweeter dome has had spectral analysis and after many waterfall plots , we have pushed it in at strategic places.
Considering this is a high efficiency speaker - we cryogenically froze a safeway alarm clock radio - after gutting it and replacing all the parts with the best components money can buy (the innards of a broken hitachi FM radio)
As you well know , being into high end , battery power is much better than mains - so we have supplied an offboard 9v power supply (made by eveready) and have already conditioned it with 100 hours of playing. Obviously , This is a mono system , as true audiophile will only listen to mono.
We have thoroughly researched cabling , and have supplied you our special twinflex range which is coated with the finest and purest poly vinyl chloride. We think it is vital to play cables in so have searched the world and finally found a supply of 40 year old vintage twisted copper pairs. Added to it's vintage appeal , this cabling has historical significance , as it came out of a house in the now demolished district six.
We would like to hand over this system and think that the presidential suite at the Cape Sun would be a good venue - we have imported a rare coffee bean , excreted by civets and then roasted to perfection , for your obviously sophisticated tastes.
Our 2 resident masseuses, fifi and gigi, will pamper and pet you in private , prior to the handover , to make it as pleasurable an experience as possible. We will be serving sushi off them at the apress handover party (Mum's , Bollinger or Moet ? - please advise)
