I just bought a little gadget that I love showing off. It is actually ridiculous, as it is basically a milk frother that can also makes a mean cup of hot chocolate. I can do the same think likely with a spoon and the microwave, but it is not nearly as cool as this gadget ...
It is a little aluminium pot with a small magnetic stirrer in the bottom. It heats the liquid inside (milk, water, soup etc) by means of magnetic induction (I think), at the same time rotating the magnetic stirrer inside the pot to move the liquid around. The milk comes out as a amazing froth, with a Milo/hot chocolate you cannot believe. It barely manages to heat one cup of milk, and is flimsy as spun sugar ...
... people have been laughing (but secretly wishing they had one). I think every house should have one ...
Any other recommendations (I likely already have it ... perhaps two ...)
