Hi all,

I recently bought a set of Harman Kardon soundsticks (Either gen 1 or 2, it still has the USB connector). They were fine at first, but a few months in, when I plug them in, the speakers (sub-woofer particularly) started making this high pitched noise that keeps rising until it eventually settles and peters out. This takes about 10-15 minutes though...From what I've read, it could simply be an issue with the power supply, and I potentially don't have to look at replacing any major parts. I've been scrounging to find a place where I can buy a power supply for it locally, but can only find internationally. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Further to this: the glue on one of the speakers has also started decaying. Does anyone know of someone locally who can do a bit of a restoration on them? They need a bit of TLC, and I don't know if I have the stomach to take apart and clean something this intricate...
