So I got my hands on two relatively small bookshelves and placed same in my listening room, replacing the almost 5m of wall to wall 350mm deep supawood shelving now doing duty in the garage. The upshot is I spent until 1am this morning trying to create some semblance of order in the listening room and then started trying to do the same in the garage around 9am, wrapping up (with little real progress in either space) around 5pm today...buggered. I don't know where all this stuff comes from, boxes and boxes of stuff, tools...I'm no DIY guy but there're 2 x drills, belt sander, orbital sander, hole-saw, garden taps galore (Cobra nogal), copper tubing, gas burner, pressure cleaner, buckets of paint, cement, coprox, two toolboxes etc. and more nails, screws and bolts than I could turn in in a lifetime. There's a desk FULL of stuff that cant be identified without moving 20 other items and I didn't make a dent in it today. My listening room is strewn with hard drives, headphone amp, ADCs, earphones and a Quad kit I've never played an album on. How'd this happen...is it a guy thing or do I go shopping whilst asleep :nutter:
