I bit the bullet and imported a Holo Red (ended up roughly half of the local price). I have had a long history with many different streamers, from budget Pis through to Aurender and Lumia - but I quite enjoy the configurability of Pi, and the LPS plus I2S swayed me.
After finding the device on a network (what a ball-ache, even my old SOtM was addressable via a host name), the menu was intuitive, and implied feature set impressive. You can theoretically listen to one protocol (Roon or similar) through USB, and Airplay through the other inputs. Except it doesn't work. IThe software looks simple, but it is buggy. I have got it working through USB, but none of the other other protocols work.
Have others had the same experience? How are you using it?
