Ok then, I've cancelled my rubbish Vodacom 3G modem and I must now venture into the absolute unknown!
Being very low tech, I want to rather trust the chaps on the forum that know their stuff!

So what do I have? All I can tell you is that it looks as though the house we've just moved into had a Telkom line as I've found a couple of telephone jack points.

So what do I want?

I want an always on internet connection that is uncapped. Saying that, is there any merit at looking at a capped option?

I want something where my home PC, laptop or I Pad could connect to wirelessly.

What do I want to use the internet for?

General browsing, down loading music etc. I'm not a gamer at all but might look into this someday as its not through a lack of interest that I don't game but more a lack of time to do so!

So what have I seen so far?

Telkom and Afrihost. One of our directors has recommended Afrihost and they appear to be very affordable vs Telkom but I don't know enough to know if its penny wise, pound foolish!

Finally, for what I need, do I go for shaped or unshaped?

Cheers, I hope someone can confidently point me in the correct direction!
