Hi guys - finally got the go ahead to convert our visitors lounge (unused since we built the house 2yrs ago) to a cinema room. ;D
Dimensions are 4.5m x 4.5m x 3m (ceiling height)
The north wall seems perfect for the screen, but we will be putting curtains to the ceiling(west wall) meaning the surrounds will have to be placed behind and not to the side of the listening position. this may prove difficult as the back of the room is open currently. The east wall has the window, which if removed/closed off, can be used for the screen and will work out perfect for placement of surround speakers to the sides of the listening position.
What would you do - close up the window or move it to the other wall? I have a builder coming in this week to do other work, if moving the window is the best option then might as well get it done now... in the planning phase at the moment to all thoughts ideas/appreciated. (all Im lacking on the equipment side is a projector and screen)
