Im wanting to put together an [entry level?] audiophile home theatre setup. Money is tight, and so Im not looking to splurge but wanting to get value for money speakers, and maybe 2 at a time. Im about to get a Marantz SR5006 amp [7.1], and need to determine which speakers I can get that pair well with this, and that also are good for home theatre. Someone once told me that Jamo are great for home theatre. I was thinking of starting with a pair of floorstanders, and the centre.
In my stereo setup in my lounge I have B&W DM603 S3 powered with a NAD356BEE, which I am quite enjoying. How will B&W fair in home theatre? Although Im thinking of maybe getting something else just for variation.
So any advice on this front would be highly appreciated.
