hi.i need to get some new home theatre speakers and with so much available im a bit confused.i have a smallish room (4 by 4 m) but wanna get something nice so that i wont feel the need to replace them in a hurry. i'm considering the b&w 684 theatre package and the boston vr2 package.ive been sort of favouring the bostons up to today till somebody offered me the kef iq9 theatre package at about the same price.
the kefs are alot more speaker for money but im concerned that my room is too small for them(it also comes with the kef psw3500 12 inch 300 watt sub). my other concern is that ive only got a sony strdg 910 amp (claimed 7 by 100 watt) which is probably not worthy of driving any of the abovementioned speakers - will i cause any damage to the speakers by using this amp?this is only temporary as i plan to get a new one in a couple of months - hopefully a rotel or denon.
any forthcoming advice or suggestions will be much appreciated.
