A smaller festival than Solstice. But a true celebration of the unique role of the hops plant and the magic it's fruits has brought to our brews since Jan van Riebeeck first planted hops in 1652 in Africa.
The first hops festival in Africa ever!
A day filled with fun and games for young and old. Ales crafted specially for the occasion filled with the magic of hops. bands on stage and fine country fare. Plus good old fashioned traditional fun like tomato throwing, pillow fights on the log, Mexican pi?atas etc.
Brixton Moord en Roof Orkes, Bachus Nel, Janus and Marcia Moon will be entertaining you.
Lots of other stalls to browse.
Cost: R40 p/p and non-alcoholic patrons enter free.
