Had ADT round last week,needed an extra contact point and a few things done.
The guy mentioned that housebreakings are up dramatically in our area and in most cases the recently purchased Plasma/LCD has been stolen.
Heard the same from another armed response guy who responded to my neighbours call three weeks ago.
Now how do they know you have a plasma/LCD ??
Inside job at the store where you purchased it??..they do have your name and address when they check your tv lisence OR as I noticed on my way to work one morning,in front of a house the rubbish bags had been put out and large as life an empty LG 42" LCD box?
My wife who works from home has often seen guys going through our rubbish and yeah maybe they just after a bagain
or looking for old clothes and food but it does make me wonder.
