Does anyone have tips and tricks on how to weld velcro, I'm thinking perhaps with a hot soldering iron or heat a welding rod with a blowtorch and make little melt welds as needed. The commercial way is apparently ultrasonic welding.
I want to put little velcro straps on my cables(spare rca/usb/network/etc) so they can be neatly and compactly stored. I have the premade straps already but I don't want to hand stitch each strap(permanently attach one end of the strap to the cable so they don't get lost when the cable is unfurled) onto the cables with a needle and thread.
You can see the strap and weld type I'm referring in this pic
